What Mi Basket is
Mi Basket is a free family app for following Uruguayan basketball, with no ads and no profit motive. By using it, you accept these terms.
Using the app
You may use Mi Basket for personal, non-commercial purposes. The apps work without registering or creating an account. If you want, you can sign in with your account: in the apps with Google and, on iPhone, also with Apple; on the web and in the ChatGPT or Claude connector, with Google or Apple. We ask that you do not use it for unlawful purposes or in a way that affects how it works or how the data sources work.
Sports data and accuracy
Results, fixtures and statistics come from official, publicly available Uruguayan basketball sources and are shown as they are published. They may contain errors, delays or last-minute changes. Mi Basket is provided "as is", with no guarantee as to the accuracy or availability of the data, and it should not be used as an official source.
Photos you upload
On the profile of an LBM player, if you are signed in with your account, you can propose the player's photo. By uploading it, you accept these rules:
- Only a photo of the face of the player on that profile is allowed, and it must be one you have the right to use: either you took it or you have permission from the person who did.
- Offensive, sexual, violent or discriminatory photos are not allowed, and neither are photos of someone else, documents (not even an ID card), screenshots or images containing personal data or advertising.
- No photo is published without review: first it goes through an automated filter and then a person approves it. We may reject or remove any photo.
- You can report a photo from the profile by tapping "Cambiar o reportar la foto" (Change or report the photo) and then "Reportar esta foto" (Report this photo; you need to be signed in), or by writing to [email protected]. We review it and, if it does not follow these rules, we remove it. You can also choose to stop seeing that photo on your phone.
- Zero tolerance: if you upload something inappropriate, the photo is taken down and your account can no longer upload photos. In serious cases we block the account entirely.
- The photo is still yours; you give us permission to show it in Mi Basket while it is published. You can remove it from the profile whenever you like, and if you delete your account, all of your photos are removed.

Intellectual property
Mi Basket is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or officially endorsed by the Uruguayan Basketball Federation (FUBB), the Liga de Basketball de Montevideo (LBM), FIBA or the clubs it mentions. Club names and crests belong to their respective owners.
Availability
The app is a non-profit project and may change, be updated or be discontinued at any time, without prior notice.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms over time. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
